Bible Society offers Proclamation materials via web site

TORONTO, Canada — Following the success of its public Bible-reading campaign Proclamation (see World Report 360), the Canadian Bible Society (CBS) is offering the copyrighted program and support material designs to other national Bible Societies.

“Our Communications Office has designed a whole group of integrated support materials ranging from brochures to huge banners and cardboard Sower display units in both English and French,” said CBS National Director the Rev Greg Bailey. “Societies considering running Proclamation in their own countries can view the designs we are making available at the special web address we have set up, http://www.biblesociety.ca/ubs/

“We are making this incredibly successful program available to the whole UBS fellowship. Proclamation is electrifying the Canadian Church and if other Bible Societies are interested we have all these support materials which can be localised with national Society logos. We can supply electronic templates via e-mail attachment for all the support materials – posters, banners, buttons, church bulletins etc. as well as sample training manuals.”

The CBS invites national Societies who are considering holding their own Proclamation events to e-mail Mr Bailey at natdir@biblesociety.ca

The Northern Alberta District of the CBS is planning to hold another Proclamation event to coincide with the World Track and Field Championships in Edmonton in August, and is inviting the athletes competing at the games to take part. (WR 361/35 - 7/8.01)
